For Father’s Day every year, I would take my dad to the local casino and we would play his favorite game which is Keno. I tried to create a “system” where I would notice what numbers were hitting the most and then try to play those.
My dad said that that was not the right strategy and you shouldn’t chase the numbers. Of course me being the son and wanting to prove the old man wrong I continue with my system. Which didn’t work out as you may guess based on the title.
So one year I finally decided to do what he said. I picked my set of numbers and I didn’t change it. On the same game we both won. I won $1,500 and he won $350. Being consistent paid off.
I bring this up because so many agents jump from one prospecting method to another trying to chase business. Consistency wins over and over and over.
