What are you doing to stand out? What is that element that makes you not “just another Realtor;” Not just okay.

Besides all of the gimmicks, I believe it’s the way you treat the client. Treat them well and they become loyal. Think about this, customer satisfaction is the lowest bar but I guess that is what McDonald’s is built on. Great in a pinch but you don’t seek it out or stand in long lines like people do for In-N-Out.

Think about this on a more personal level. Do you want your spouse to just be satisfied? Do you just want to be satisfied by your marriage? We aren’t looking for mediocre lives. We want exceptional lives and we will stay with those that help us have that exceptional life.

If you just do the bare minimum, will you win any raving fans?

Market knowledge usually is the top thing people want from their agent. I know many an agent has picked up clients from Open Houses because they really knew the inventory, the available homes and what was happening in that neighborhood. But as good as you may know that, that is still what they expect.

The idea of the baker’s dozen comes from the idea of giving more than expected. What’s your baker’s dozen? Is it a book of resources? Is it a bucket with tools that they will need when they move? Is it the use of a truck? Tool library? Expert negotiating skills? Your support staff?

There are a ton of things you can do to provide stellar service and results. I challenge you to figure out what separates you from everyone else and then make sure everyone knows about it.
