Take Advantage of Good Weather to Sell Your House
Right now is a great time to sell in Portland because the Cherry Blossoms are blooming brightly though some are starting to lose their blossoms. Neighborhoods still have blossoms lining the streets in some areas giving us great shots to put in the RMLS. In the next few weeks they will all be gone but the photos will be there to help sell your home. Tulips are just about to pop and everything else is coming in.
If you have a lot of great landscaping you should be taking pictures of it now so if you decide to sell your home during fall or winter you can still show off the potential of your home. You can show how the trees fill in and your home becomes a private oasis instead of the buyers guessing.
In Winter and early Spring I am often stuck with dead yards, leafless trees, and dark skies when I take photos for listings. I love when a client has digital photos that I can use in the RMLS. I used these photos because the house was still a few weeks from blooming. Much better than the bland green yard that was there at the time.
And remember to take pictures of renovations. Showing before and after pictures can add value much better than telling someone that you put $20,000 into your home.
