The Portland area recently started Single Streaming Recycling where you can put all of your recyclable material into one container. This is a boon for recycling as many just didn’t want to have 3 or more bins to sort out the right types. I wondered how complicated the process is to sort those materials and found this wonderfully made video that explains it all. There is a cool way they sort the aluminum cans with a force field!
