The theory is usually used to deflect attention from a group and isolate an individual or cluster. The problem is that we are literally comparing apples to humans. But for those stuck on that, if you do see one bad apple, don’t you check the others to see if they were spoiled?
The Bad Apple Theory negates the environment they allowed people to do bad things, allowed them to feel they could. I’m seeing a lot of agent’s careers end recently because leadership is realizing this bad behavior isn’t going to fly once the public finds out. And that’s what needs to happen, leaders need to step up or step out.
