With kids, the first two years are the hardest. They are the messiest, loudest, and nastiest. It kind of sounds like real estate. Once you get past the first couple of years, it gets easier, though still not easy. You’re going to have work that you don’t want to do but you have to keep your eye on the overall objective. The road is long but it is worth it.
