I have just heard about a home that sold at the auction this weekend. It sold for $505,000 including the 5% auction fee. The home was listed for as low $560,000+ and has high as $605,000. Here are the listing prices (rounded) over 500 days,
- $610,000 (100+ days)
- $645,000 (one day)
- $610,000 (8 months)
- $677,950 (typical Valentine’s Day raise they like to do. 3 months)
- $570,000 (5 months)
So based on their last list price it is an 11% discount which falls in line with some other reports I had. I was also told this was a single bid, no competitors.
