Looking in the mirror I often think I have more hair than some picture angles show. Sunday I will get a glimpse into the future as I get my head shaved for charity.
St. Baldrick’s is the world’s largest volunteer-driven fundraising event for childhood cancer research. In the US, more children die of childhood cancer than any other disease. Thousands of volunteers shave their heads in solidarity of children with cancer, while requesting donations of support from friends and family.
Barracuda has already, as of this writing, raised over $68,000. Hopefully by Sunday they will have raised their goal of $100,000. I have a modest goal of $500 since I only have under a week to bug people, mainly other agents gong through this tough market.
If you would like to donate to worthy cause here is my “Shavee” information for online donations and here is a donation form. If you don’t wish to be anonymous, I can post your name or business name in the blog on Monday with a lovely picture of my chrome dome and the results.
Thanks to my friend Andy for telling me about this cause and thank goodness I still have enough hair that it is an option. Do you think I should keep the goatee? And no Jonas, I won’t shave my eyebrows…unless someone was willing to donate $2000… and I double check with Allison.

If you’re planning to keep the facial hair, then at least turn the goatee into a handlebar mustache. Fashion is cyclical and I think the ‘stache will make a comeback. Be the catalyst for that comeback.
