Real Estate Agent Trap #7 – Think Like You’re the Client

This is a quiet killer and most don’t realize it is happening. I didn’t realize I was doing it until I learned about the DISC personality assessment.

Learn the DISC, it’s the easiest way to get a short hand take on other’s personality and they way they work. If you purely look at the four letters with one letter being dominant for many, approaching them with your style or thought process is only going to connect with 25% of the public.

If you learn how to speak someone else’s language, you’re going to have an easier time. If you realize the quirks, it isn’t as personal when they change their mind, get scared, need more stats or want to talk all of the time. When we understand, it makes it better.

I also suggest you and your partner take the assessment. My wife and I have a much better understanding of each now.
