Kyron’s stepmother, Terri Horman, was not aware Kyron was missing until he failed to exit his school bus as expected at about 3:30 p.m. Friday. A half-hour later, the search for the boy began.

Despite the large number of tips received so far, Capt. Gates pleaded with the public to call in with any bit of information that could help point them towards the missing child.

Tip line: (503) 261-2847

All schools should instate a requirement that all non-faculty persons attending school events be admitted with ID check. This would help prevent offenders from freely wandering the facility, and would also potentially identify suspect behavior before they are admitted.
Someone with the authority to make this simple change please act on this now. How can you live with yourself if you don't?

In this case, the stepmother's activity after dropping off Kyron at school needs to be scrutinized. Stepmother did not call 911, a school official placed the call.

In the picture of Kyron why is the person in the back ground, with the girl, look like they are hiding from the camera? Why is everyone quick to blame the step-mom? The school had a lot of people on it's grounds. The school should have called when his science project was there, but he was not. That should have raised a red flag
